Welcome to Runie's guide to the mutliverse! I know it's been a long time since I wrote a blog about the multiverse and what not, I have been kind of busy with things that I can't totally get into right now. But this time I figure I should talk about things you should consider to take with you while you're on your journey to other world and places. Maybe you're traveling through time, that's pretty fun too- especially if you want to get away from quarantine orders or whatever may be troubling you...
Anyway! Let's get to the good stuff. The first thing you'll probably need is clothing of course, you can't just wear any kinds of clothes- they need to be as generic as you possibly can make them if you want to fit in. So my suggestion is blue jeans, a white (or black) t-shirt and boots. I've always been told by my fellow travelers wearing boots was a must because you never know what kind of terrain you might be caught in when traveling through other worlds, so keep that in mind!
Another thing is money. We aren't all expert hackers coughs (likeUrsula) coughs, so when it comes to obtaining funds from other places, everything is in game. Minerals like gold can be very useful in their pure form, like coins or what have you, but some places gold isn't as rare as it is here, so things like silver, or even tin can come in handy. If you have any unique materials like plastics or whatever, they can be useful but keep in mind they may draw unnecessary attention to yourself- and unless you're buying and trading it's probably a good idea to keep on the down-low- the last thing you need is a government or some lone nut or terrorist going after you pumping you for information you probably don't even know!
Unless you really know where you're going, it's always good to keep a go bag of some sort! A change of clothes, a lighter or matches, a candy bar.. (mmmmmm!), compass (might not work though), a knife, a pen and notepad (for notes maybe), and some kind of communication device. Don't forget a flash light too, or something that lets you see in the dark! You never know, some places may have different light available to you (especially if the sun is a red dwarf, the things can get trippy), or some other kind of sun. Also beware of radiation as well, make sure you take charcoal tablets! They may help counter certain types of radiation poisoning and a first aid kit!
I'm sure I'm missing something here... Hm.. you probably should take a weapon as well, but try not to bring anything too... noticeable? If it's a knife it should be alright, you can probably get away with an excuse for having it (depending what it is), but this is why research is so important when you go to random places. You can't just go anywhere without planning- some earths don't even have an atmosphere let alone life. One earth just had water on it.. so that's also another problem too.
You'd probably like to take a camera, that'd be a good idea! You might miss out on all sorts of crazy sights about- just remember the most important rule is stay inconspicuous! When you're out and about don't tell anyone you're from another universe or time traveler ever! Even if you meet someone else who is claiming to be one, you have no idea what their intentions are (or if they're even telling the truth), so never, ever mention it. So that also means no tea parties with Stephen Hawking or whoever else makes them, no matter how much they may tease people about it, never ever tell anyone unless you're absolutely certain you can trust them (like if you know them after a while).
Anyway, I guess that's it for now. I'll try to add more stuff in the future, sorry to disappoint you! Bye-bye for now!
Hi, this is Runie, I know I was suppose to come back with some pictures of things from other universes but as it has turned out, Rosalie ate most of them in a fit of rage. Please forgive the long tenuious reply.
Therefore I'm just going to post some songs from famous artists instead, hopefully it won't drive you mad from the infinite abyss that is the void but hey, it's always a risk isn't it?!
Oh yes I know there is a lot of nine inch nails stuff on here but what do you expect?! @_@;;
That's all for now there may be more in the future! If you find anything weird or unique that may be from another universe please feel free to contact or just leave a message! Thanks!!
Today I am starting a new series on, “how to make your multiverse travel into an insanely profitable business!”. I'm sure a lot of you are thinking, “I have access to a device that can transport me to other universes, but how do I use that to make money??” Well, wonder no more! I am about to tell you the secrets those big furry fat cats with their wubby wittle tummahs don't want you to know!
There are many different things you can utilize your trans-dimensional device for, and if you have the access and manpower, you can almost make just about anything with infinite resources, heh. If you have the money- did I mention, money from one universe or another doesn't usually mean anything? The 10 000 dollars you may have saved up to go to another universe to visit, won't be worth much if the first president of the united states was Benjamin Franklin! Or maybe it would be, who knows! So the first thing you need to do is to get your money converted into “raw resources”.
Ursula, who helped me with this an awful lot considering I lit her bedroom on fire, heheh- defined raw resources as the flowing- “minerals or natural resources.” So it's good to know what you're dealing with, some places have gold that is as common as allimuimunumumnum. So, using gold there, wouldn't be recommended but it sure would be recommended to buy some at the grocery store since a lot of it is probably used for Tupperware! So, it's good to get a hold or rocks, and things, glass maybe, lots of people like glass. Oil, gasoline, propaaaaaane! These things can be used as currency in new worlds where such elements are low, or don't exist. Be careful though! Make sure you have protection!
So, utilizing gold, is generally recommended if you're going to similar worlds such as yourself, because people can use it to buy anything with it frequently, right? So raw materials that can be used should be seen as currency for you, and can indeed, make you a profit if you know how to do it! Try underground markets, or, if everyone is already poor due to some disaster, try selling small amounts as aid, don't, don't let them know you have a lot or they may try to attack you!
You see, you don't need to worry about money at all, just find yourself a nice earth, or earths that are empty, and go mining! Kinda like that game, Minecrap! But this time it's for real.. e-especially the creepers- t-those things, those things are trouble. So keep an eye out!
You might also want to “borrow” some equipment from other universes as well, or perhaps just take a course in mining, a lot of times though you may be running over geese trying to chase something that isn't there. Believe it or not, as you may know, many earths do not have very many raw materials- in fact most of the other rocky planets usually do not- or at least, it is theorized so. This is apparently due to the fact that earth is so rocky or something like that and it was able to capture many materials from the beginning of the solar system. Maybe it's true or not, but anyway, you should know this stuff at least by now.
If you have the ability, going through space may also help, or trying to find a “carbon” earth, could also be a jackpot. Carbon earths are believed to have so many diamonds they're as common as rocks- gasoline rivers (don't ask me how that works), etcetc. A lot of them also have oxygen atmospheres. Just remember, you're not the only one there looking around for stuff! And some people can be very overprotective of their territory.
Next time, I will tell you how to use that currency with something called “currency”! Oooh Mysterious!!
Hi I'm Runie with your guide to the multiverse! I hope you all had a great christmas the other day and you're taking it easy! Don't over drink! And while we're talking about drinking and since we have less than a week, let's talk about New Years!
Since I just recently discovered New years, allow me to explain the meaning of it- New is new, and Year is Year, which is the period of time that rolls around the sun, new years! And what's the most important part of new years? That's right. The Drinking.
While I don't drink anymore (I got sick of it and I only associate with my mind numbing depression), you can still have a party and let others drink... probably. So since it's our top priority we should ensure we have enough drinks for all. Find yourself a universe that has a good grocery store that sells anything there, get some. Make sure there is all kinds of drinks for all tastes, on bourbon, on vodka, on scotch and on gin! And beer, and some little chocolates ooh, and some of those acon wrapped shrimp!
Maybe I'm just kinda getting too excited.. hehe. But now that you have drinks, it's time to figure out how many people to invite. I don't have a problem with this because everyone is invited! And if someone has a request try to honor it!
Also, there may be some people who love... you know smoking and such, so try to keep that in mind. Get a fan or something for your room, just don't take them and throw them outside in the cold- you don't want to have them eaten by wolves or something.
Have you seen that New Years Movie with Asston Coocher?! Doesn't that suck? I mean, I thought I could never get to sleep but it didn't take very long at all, half an hour tops. If you're having issues sleeping, don't watch it on New Years Eve, you will never make it past 9 o'clock!
I'm sure a lot of people are wondering, what to bring to New Years Party, as snacks, so if you happen to have any left over turkey that could help a lot, and wine, lots of wine!! Especially Sparkly wine! That is also great, make sure you leave some out for me if I come out, I loooove wine.
Just leave me some wine out and I will come give you a gift! Who knows what it could be! Probably something from my pockets though like a mint or lip balm. Let's try to start a new tradition here!!
Soo, soon. New Years will come, and then we can be depressed about all the things we said we'd do last year at this time and not accomplish them. Sighs No wonder why people drink. I'm going to need a lot more soda to get through this...
Another thing I want to get to today is ant-acids! Which ones are the best for staving off indigestion. Personally, I think Eno is good, but I also enjoy Dr. Peppermint's Soda- that's a real great one that tastes very pepperminty and never loses it's fizz but also, doubles as a soda!
Another good one is.. alta seltzer- wow what a weird name. It apparently, can do more than just work as an antiacid! It can also cure headaches, sooth aching muscles, wash your toilet, and also doubles as a soda. Wow soda sure is popular. Did you know, that back in the olden days, Soda was comprised primarily of crack?? Isn't that something! In fact, some were just sparkly wine, while others were just pure meth. Oh wait- those are ant-acids again!
If you're reading this from a universe that has it- urk- Pepto Bismuth is also good but is known to, turn certain hair on your body pink. So in case you're actually going for that thing, or perhaps you may or may not find it a turn on it may not be for you. Although if your hair is pink or any other color it may not affect you so who knows. All I know is, is that it tastes great!
