Welcome to Runie's guide to the mutliverse! I know it's been a long time since I wrote a blog about the multiverse and what not, I have been kind of busy with things that I can't totally get into right now. But this time I figure I should talk about things you should consider to take with you while you're on your journey to other world and places. Maybe you're traveling through time, that's pretty fun too- especially if you want to get away from quarantine orders or whatever may be troubling you...
Anyway! Let's get to the good stuff. The first thing you'll probably need is clothing of course, you can't just wear any kinds of clothes- they need to be as generic as you possibly can make them if you want to fit in. So my suggestion is blue jeans, a white (or black) t-shirt and boots. I've always been told by my fellow travelers wearing boots was a must because you never know what kind of terrain you might be caught in when traveling through other worlds, so keep that in mind! Another thing is money. We aren't all expert hackers coughs (likeUrsula) coughs, so when it comes to obtaining funds from other places, everything is in game. Minerals like gold can be very useful in their pure form, like coins or what have you, but some places gold isn't as rare as it is here, so things like silver, or even tin can come in handy. If you have any unique materials like plastics or whatever, they can be useful but keep in mind they may draw unnecessary attention to yourself- and unless you're buying and trading it's probably a good idea to keep on the down-low- the last thing you need is a government or some lone nut or terrorist going after you pumping you for information you probably don't even know! Unless you really know where you're going, it's always good to keep a go bag of some sort! A change of clothes, a lighter or matches, a candy bar.. (mmmmmm!), compass (might not work though), a knife, a pen and notepad (for notes maybe), and some kind of communication device. Don't forget a flash light too, or something that lets you see in the dark! You never know, some places may have different light available to you (especially if the sun is a red dwarf, the things can get trippy), or some other kind of sun. Also beware of radiation as well, make sure you take charcoal tablets! They may help counter certain types of radiation poisoning and a first aid kit! I'm sure I'm missing something here... Hm.. you probably should take a weapon as well, but try not to bring anything too... noticeable? If it's a knife it should be alright, you can probably get away with an excuse for having it (depending what it is), but this is why research is so important when you go to random places. You can't just go anywhere without planning- some earths don't even have an atmosphere let alone life. One earth just had water on it.. so that's also another problem too. You'd probably like to take a camera, that'd be a good idea! You might miss out on all sorts of crazy sights about- just remember the most important rule is stay inconspicuous! When you're out and about don't tell anyone you're from another universe or time traveler ever! Even if you meet someone else who is claiming to be one, you have no idea what their intentions are (or if they're even telling the truth), so never, ever mention it. So that also means no tea parties with Stephen Hawking or whoever else makes them, no matter how much they may tease people about it, never ever tell anyone unless you're absolutely certain you can trust them (like if you know them after a while). Anyway, I guess that's it for now. I'll try to add more stuff in the future, sorry to disappoint you! Bye-bye for now!
